Dublin Joint Homelessness Consultative Forum
The Dublin Region Homeless Executive is responsible for providing support and services to the Dublin Joint Homelessness Consultative Forum and the Statutory Management Group.
The primary role of the Dublin Joint Homelessness Consultative Forum is to ensure the implementation of our current action plan which runs from 2011-2013.
Role of the Consultative Forum:
- Ensure the implementation of our current action plan 2011-2013
- Sets the strategic policy framework and ensures that the activities of DRHE are in keeping with relevant policy frames and best practice in terms of accountability and management
- Ensure the development of appropriate policy responses in respect of policy development and partnership level, which work to support the Vision contained within our current action plan
- Provide strategic direction in relation to the financial resourcing of Homeless Services by the relevant statutory agencies in keeping with our current action plan, relevant Government/National Policy Frameworks
- Propose the plan and budget to the Cross Departmental Team through DRHE on behalf and in close collaboration with the relevant funding authorities.
- Receive and/or seek submissions from the Consultative Forum
